About Us

We are a family-run, non-profit organisation, based in Horsham, West Sussex.

Founded around 20 years ago, Holbrook Animal Rescue was set up to help with the neutering, veterinary care and feeding of stray and abandoned dogs and cats. We take in many different types of animals and they all come from different backgrounds. We try find good homes for them all - where possible – and often keep the old and sick ones as our own animals.

Holbrook Animal Rescue is 80% self funded by the family.

Every penny of donations counts and goes towards veterinary costs, feeding and general care of our animals. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who walk the dogs 2-3 times a day and help keep the quarters clean and comfy - the dogs at Holbrook are not kennelled. Our work has been recognised in 2015, when we won the county times community animal award for the care and dedication shown to the animals that come to Holbrook.

We also work in conjunction with other animal welfare organisations.

We help other organisations across the UK & Europe to help with the neutering, veterinary care and feeding of stray and abandoned animals.

With your help, we can rescue & help more animals.

With your support, we can help & provide these animals with their basic need – a home where they will be cared for and no longer live in fear or hunger. Please look at the animals for adoption on this website and see if you can offer one of them a forever home. All donations are gratefully received, you can donate by Paypal or support us by EasyFundraising here, or please email us for instruction on how to arrange a standing order to become a regular supporter.
